Welcome to our Chef's Kitchen

Jane Ingold was born in Sydney in 1968. From an early age, she developed a deep passion for cooking and good food. This initially led her to professional kitchens and laid the foundation for her current work. Jane completed her training in Sydney, supplemented by practical experience in renowned restaurants. In diverse kitchen locations, she acquired in-depth skills, deepened her understanding of organisational skills, quality, and flavour, and took on responsibility early on. Travel has always played a central role in Jane's professional development. In the mid-1990s, she embarked on an extensive journey through Europe in order to explore regional cuisines, traditional cooking methods, and new flavours. This journey eventually brought her to Switzerland, where she now lives and works. In Zurich, Jane continued her culinary career and gradually built her own business. What began as invitations for friends and family has evolved over the years into an independent enterprise. Today, Jane Fine Food stands for contemporary cuisine with character, shaped by international influences and a distinctive personal touch. Jane cooks for private events as well as business dinners. In addition, she works as a food stylist presenting foods for photography and film. Her own sauces, marinades, and spice blends can be purchased as gifts or for personal use.

Our Chef's Kitchen works with select partners who share the same high standards of quality and functionality. This includes high-quality Damascus steel knives from a specialist manufacturer in Hamburg, used in cookery classes and events. These knives offer precision craftsmanship, timeless design, and dependable performance. During cookery sessions, our participants work with professional tools and also have the opportunity to purchase these items if they wish. Our focus is on the culinary essentials: so durability, elegance, and practical application are paramount.
