Jane Ingold

Jane Ingold born in Sydney 1968. From a young age Jane was introduced to the hotel industry and has found an understanding and passion for good food.

In 1985 Jane started an apprenticeship at The Wardroom Restaurant and studied Commercial Cookery at Ryde College of TAFE. Jane went on to work at various other Sydney restaurants; The Banjo Paterson Cottage Restaurant, Pinetrees Lord Howe Island, The Art Gallery of NSW (sous chef), Country Comfort Sydney Central (executive chef) to name a few.

Travel had always been on the to do list, in 1995 Jane embarked on a trip to Europe to taste new treats and practice a few of the old ones. It was to Switzerland that she went and it is where she lives and cooks today. After a great start at the Hotel Florhof and the Hotel Seehof in Zurich and Jane’s subsequent marriage to long time penfriend Thomas has lead her to Jane Fine Food.

Jane’s first private small dinners were for friends and family. Now she runs a small company, which has evolved and grown in the last ten years. It is with an ever changing and interesting menu that Jane brings to her clients a little bit of Sydney.

Not only does Jane cook for private dinners she cooks for small companies and for photography and film (food styling).

All sauces, marinades, pepper/spice mixes that are found on Jane’s menus can be preordered as gifts for friends or to add that special touch to your own dishes.

Jane works together with The Wine Shop to cater for all your wine needs, from Europe to the New World.
